Boat and car winterizing
Our boat storage facility is one of the best in the area. Our boats are kept high and dry in concrete and steel buildings, all with concrete floors and alarm systems. The temperature is maintained in our main storage facility by two Reznor furnaces, simultaneously keeping the temperature well above freezing. Our steel buildings are fully insulated, have vapor barriers in the floors, and have French drains, downspouts and gutters surrounding them for a moisture resistant atmosphere.
When we winterize a boat we first stabilize the fuel system, then we service the outdrive, we change the oil and filter, winterize with anti-freeze and then fog the engine down for the winter. The battery is removed but remains in our warehouse on a charging table for the winter months
